Questions

What is Tender?

A payments layer for agents. Your agent gets its own identity and a funded balance, so it can pay for things without holding your card.

How does an agent pay?

Two ways. For APIs and data, it pays per request with an x402-style machine payment. For stores, it gets a one-shot virtual card locked to one merchant and one amount.

What does the dashboard show?

The sponsor is you. The dashboard shows the balance, total spend, how much of the daily cap is used, and a transaction history with a receipt for each payment.

What limits can I set?

A cap per rail, a daily cap, and an allowlist of merchants. In this demo: $1 per API payment, $20 per card, $25 per day, two approved merchants. Anything outside the policy is declined.

How is the agent authorized?

The agent has its own keypair identity and never sees your credentials. You sign in as the sponsor to add funds and approve what it can spend.

Can agents pay people, not just merchants?

Not yet. Today an agent can only pay merchants you approve. Paying people, wallet to wallet, is coming soon, with its own limits and an approved-recipient list.

Is any of this real?

No. It is a simulation. No money moves, no card is issued and no real order is placed. The sign-in, card and code are placeholders you can edit.
